Evansville Tonight is the insider's guide to Evansville, Indiana nightlife — curated by hand, not algorithm. Launched in 2026 by Alex Hale as an independent editorial project, ET publishes The Briefing (a weekly digest delivered every Thursday at five), maintains a curated directory of bars, restaurants, and venues across the Evansville metro, and offers the ET Card — an annual membership that pools member dues into a quarterly community fund for participating venues.

Alex is the editor and founder of Evansville Tonight. He started ET to be the local's list of where to actually go — the opposite of algorithmic 'trending near you' feeds. He reads every menu, every calendar, every Instagram, and writes the picks by hand.
